Clwyd Helicopters was formed by a group of enthusiasts the Wrexham area in 1989.
Our main interest is rotary wing and we presently have about 20 members ranging from experienced BMFA examiners to the novice pilot. The club welcomes beginners of all ages where help and advice from our experienced members is always available.
We have a number of club flying sites in the Wrexham and Chester area and we fly on a Sunday afternoon throughout the year weather permitting.
Club nights are held at the Llay Miners Welfare Institute every first Wednesday of the month at 9.00pm,if you want to know more about getting started in flying model helicopters why not call in or arrange to meet us at one of our flying sites new faces are always welcome.
